We Are Hiring!
This Fall we will be launching a brand new program, Street Journalism. Street Journalism will be our community driven news reporting series where we will be hitting the streets of Tacoma to gather community dialogue around local events, politics, and hot topics!
In order to make that happen we have to first expand our team! We are hiring for two positions! We are looking for a show host and a camera person for Street Journalism. We are looking to film two episodes a month, so we are looking for folks who can commit 5 - 10 hours a month. Compensation will be a contracted $300 a month.
For the show host, we are looking for someone who is rooted in Tacoma and the culture, outgoing, friendly, funny, and is a great listener with a present personality. You don’t have to have experience in this area, just bring your shining personality!
For the camera person, we are looking for someone who is attentive, detail oriented, focused, and passionate about their craft. We prefer that you have a basic knowledge of camera functions and settings and basic audio knowledge. Camera equipment is not required.
